Job description

* This is an EU role only for candidates who live in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate from a country in the EU. We do not offer work permits, visa sponsorships or relocation packages.


We’re forming a new team to develop a product from the ground up—free of legacy constraints. As a
AI Engineer you’ll play a vital role in architecting and building our platform. Your work will redefine how installers interact day to day with knowledge tools, ultimately driving climate action. This is not just another project—this is your chance to shape a single, cohesive product that will redefine an industry. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Extracting and transforming data from different sources (documents, video, user generated, etc.)

  • Designing and implementing datamodels

  • Integrating with third-party LLM's, running controlled experiments

  • Build APIs for our app developers

  • Write Python code, deploy to production and monitor

  • Contribute to the architecture and development of a completely new product with no existing legacy systems.


Job requirements

  • Solid knowledge of AI and engineering fundamentals

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a developer and/or AI engineer

  • Fluent in Python

  • You know your way around PostgreSQL  

  • Experience building APIs (we use FastAPI)

  • Familiar with cloud platforms and containerization

  • Proficient in CI/CD workflows, test-driven development, and Agile methodologies

  • Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaboration platforms like GitHub/GitLab
